8 Days...

And the Sig 238 is back home. Not too shabby a return time if you ask me. Makes you wonder why it takes some makers months to get a gun back to you.

It arrived today, they replaced the slide, "upgraded the extractor" and test fired with Fed. American Eagle 95gr FMJ and claim it runs.

The local range is closed pending repair of a busted lock so it may be a while before I get to test it out and see how it runs. I'm hoping that the gun is good to go.

  1. Well, gotta send it back.

Noticed last night while putting the Sig up that the front sight lamp is busted, probably done during the removal/reinstallation of the sights.

Also the upgraded extractor appears to be clocking which is probably causing my mangled casings. I fired 58 rounds tonight, 50 Rem UMC and 8 Speer Gold Dots and had two premature slide locks and three mangled casings...

All ready had a shipping label for the sight issue, going to have to write up something on the extractor issue.
